About Us

Pastor Jesse T Herron and 1st Lady Brenda Herron founded the ministry in September 1995. Under their leadership, we have flourished into a strong spiritual force in the city of Kalamazoo.  Our community-driven programs serve to enhance the lives of our neighbors as well as our members, by strengthening the body, mind, and soul of every accepting individual.  Our mission is to reach out to people of every color, age group, and socioeconomic background to share the good news of Jesus Christ.  We believe that Christ is the savior of the world and that, through his redemptive power, all those that believe He is Lord can be saved from a life of hopelessness.  We also believe that God has called us to help provide relief from human suffering created by sin.  We do this by ministering to those who are in need physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  Our vision at New Life Fellowship is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world and to be a soul-saving station where lives are changed, hearts are mended, and minds are healed.
